Making Pattern 3
Today I have been learning to use Google draw to create a repeating pattern 3. I repeated my pie shapes, L-shape and triangle by making sure they were same size. I used three colours blue, green, yellow. For my background I used black.
The Badminton
Yey! Room 5/L played badminton
After that, we grabbed the racket and shuttle. Our coach Ben taught us how to hold the racket on the grip. I had to face my knuckle to the ground. He told us to have our own space. Then we practice hitting the shuttle.
Lastly we thank our coach for teaching us how to play badminton.

Maths pattern
Today I have been learning to use Google draw to create a repeating pattern. I repeated my diamond shapes by making sure they were same size. I used two colours blue and green. On the odd lines I used the pattern green, blue, green, blue. On the even lines I started my pattern by going blue, green, blue, green, blue, green, I used black for my background colour..

My best Mum in my life.
My mum loves me because she hugs and kisses me and when I get hurt and she put a bandage on the cut. She protects me from my older brothers when they bully me.

ANZAC day celebration!
Last Friday St. Patrick's School sat next to the library to celebrate ANZAC day. First the year 8 students said a prayer with some of Room 7. On the crosses it says the New Zealanders names who died and some people were wearing poppies and I saw a cross and the New Zealand flag. Then we sang the national anthem. When we finished they said symbols during war. Afterwards we put crosses in front and poppies. Lastly we said a prayer and went home.
WALT: Write a recount.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I write a recount about ANZAC day.
